1 Complete Rentals Overview
This goes over every process that may be involved in renting out equipment for both the Rentals Manager and the Shop Tech.
You'll begin your day using the Morning Meeting Checklist to make sure that you start your day off on the right foot.
Emails
The job of rentals manager is almost purely dictated by emails that you recieve. This article shows you every type of email you'll receive, then gives you the steps on how to respond to that email using templates.
Quoting Process
Someone will reach out to you wanting to rent equipment. There are four ways they might reach out.
- Through CineRentalManager
- Phone
- ShareGrid Request (View Article for Different Process)
They may have a straight forward list of equipment or they may need help. If they need help the quickest solution is to refer them to a gaffer they can hire or refer them to one of the owners.
Then follow these steps
- Sub-Rentals if you need to sub-rent any items.
Checking Out Equipment
- Schedule clients to use the Drop Sheds only.
- Add Job to Activity Board App

Checking In Equipment
- In the morning meeting go over QuickActivity Calendar
- Complete the Activity App and Archive the job.
