QR Codes and Barcodes
QR Codes and Barcodes are codes that are scannable by your phone or scanning device to instantly transmit information. This might be a link, a fully written email, or text. They are very good Poka-Yoke devices as they will ensure no errors are made when the code is scanned.
QR Codes
You can make QR codes in google sheets by using the following formula.

Printable QR Codes
To make a printable QR code for information around the shop go to this link:
In the title column put the title of your article or link
In the URL column paste your URL
Go to the card sheet and select from the drop down menu your title and the code will be filled in and formated to print.
Barcodes
Barcodes cannot contain as much information as QR Codes, but may be better if you are just looking to make scannable text or a number.
You can make barcodes by typing * * around the text you wish to make a barcode, then using the Libre Barcode 39 font. Make sure you font is not bolded or italicized.
