Poka-Yoke, pronounced polka-yokay, is Japanese for Mistake Proofing or Error Proofing. It's a lean tool that can be used to reduce or completely eliminate mistakes.
Some examples of Poka-Yoke that we have setup in the shop
- RFID scanner to ensure correct gear is checked out for the order.
- Kaizen Foam to ensure proper placement of tools.
