Underwater housings for light meters exist so you can meter underwater.

Can also get underwater color meters. Underwater test charts, such as focus charts, and color charts.

Focus

Because of the effects of the water focus will not behave as expected. You'll have to remark your focus rings and it can be helpful to do so with an underwater focus chart. If you use a flat port, your focus will be roughly 25% closer. Your AC can mark the ring, and you can bring an underwater focus chart, set it up in the pool and ensure it is correct. You'll be focusing in the close focus range, so diopters will most likely be necessary.
