Preparing for wash

  • Take a cart and put car wash kit together.

Grab the Car Wash Bucket located on the outside shelf.

Contents:

  • Simple Green
  • Concentrate measuring device
  • Microfiber cloths
  • Simple green bottle.
  • Squeegee

Also needed will be the extendable wash broom that is located behind the bucket.

  • Put the Truck in Position.

Bring the truck close to the shop door.

Clean Interior

  • Throw out trash.

Throw out any trash that is found in the cab. Check under and behind seats

  • Vacuum out the dirt.

Take the vacuum on the flip cart and vacuum all of the interior of the cab. Use the narrow nozzle to get to the hard to reach places.

  • Clean interior with simple green

Take simple green and a microfiber cloth and wipe down all surfaces in the cab.

  • Clean interior windows with simple green

Use simple green and a microfiber cloth.

Wash the Truck

  • Fill bucket with water and Simple Green.

Use the hose to fill the bucket with water up to the fill line on the inside. Use the measuring cup to measure the amount of concentrate to use. It should be 1-2 oz per gallon of water.

  • Rinse off the truck.

Take the hose to spray water on sides of the truck before washing with simple green.

  • Wash truck.

Use car wash broom to wash the sides, and back of the trucks. Get a ladder and spray the top of the truck. Use cloth to wash the front of the truck and to get in the hard-to-reach places. Repeat to make sure that all grime and dirt is washed off. Drop Liftgate and clean back doors. Wash any solar panels on the top of the truck.

  • Rinse away the soap.

Once done washing all the sides of the truck with the soap, rinse off everything so that the soap won't stain the paint.

  • Squeegee Windows

Use an extendable squeegee to clean off all the windows.

  • Turn off the hose.

Let the hose drain out water before wrapping it, this will prevent the hose from bursting.
