Sonic Mobile Communicator

Sonic is a VOIP service that allows us to receive calls over our internet line. Because this is all done over internet, you are able to download the Sonic Mobile Communicator app and receive calls from the shop on your cell phone. When the phone rings, it will ring from the Mobile Communicator app and will also ring the physical shop phone.

To use the Sonic app:

• Download the App from the App Store
• Login using the credentials in lastpass

That is all that has to be done. Now your phone will ring whenever the shop gets a phone call. The ringer will be distinctive and it will show you a different screen than the standard iPhone ringing screen.

If you want to call out using the shop number, just make sure you use the Sonic app.

If you are using the Sonic app off site be sure that you communicate with the person in the shop that they will not need to pick up the phone. This will reduce confusion as both phones will ring. Alternatively we want the rentals manager to sign into this because it allows them to go off site and still get phone calls. You will need to make sure you log out at the end of the day so you do not continue to get phone calls off company time.
