Slack
We use slack for all internal communication. It makes it easier because conversations are immediately organized, we can set limits on when everyone can be contacted, and it's easy to search past conversations.
Our workplace is
Boltlighting.slack.com
The channels you have access to will be on the left side. Before you send a message just be sure you select the channel that is the most appropriate to your conversation.
You can also upload files or tag people if you want to talk to them specifically(ex. @theirname) At the bottom on the left you can also direct message people if you like.
You can also download slack on your phone if you like as they have an app for iOS and Android phones.
Please respond to all messages directed towards you with some sort of affirmation, "ok", "copy", "got it", etc.
Commonly Used Functions
/Remind-will remind you about something at a set time or date.
/giphy add to this what you want a gif to be about and it will randomly pick a gif for you to click send on.
Login/Out
Desktop
In the Slack desktop app
- Click Bolt Lighting in the top left
- Click Sign out of Bolt Lighting
- Login to your account.
iOS
Directions to log in on the ipad on the flipcart.
- Click on the Bolt Lighting Logo in top left to access your workspace settings.
- Click 3 dots next to your workspace
- Click Signout
