Ratpac AKS
The Ratpac AKS is a combination of a wireless network, ArtNet node, and CRMX transmitter that allows you to control lighting fixtures wirelessly. It has a battery life of 20 hours, a CRMX transmission range of up to 1/4 mile using its two antennae, and a belt clip. It is limited to only 1 universe and works with Nomad, Luminair, and Blackout lighting console software.
Accessories
- Ratpac Centenna Receivers
- Blackout or Nomad Console
Troubleshooting
The antennas will often times break and must be replaced. If you are having transmission problems, check the antennas are not broken first.
If the devise gets shorted the battery will enter a protective state that will cause the internal battery to not function as inteded. You need to then open up the back of the unit and unplug the battery then plug it back in. This will not void the warranty.
Unpairing to Receivers
If the receivers aren't connecting to the transmitter, you may want to unpair them and pair them to the Ratpac again. Some of your receivers also could be paired to a different transmitter and so they must be paired to yours.
To do this hold down the RF Link button for 3 seconds and release. All receivers connected to AKS will now not be connected.
