A Glide created app that allows you to gather the same creative and logistical information about a project and share it easily with others.

Project Tab

On the bottom left is the project tab.

  • Click the drop down menu to select a project

Once you select or create a new project, hit the hamburger menu at the top left. here you can add info that applies to the project as a whole. Script, references, camera settings etc.

If you want to create a new project, you'll do the following:

  • Click Add New Project

You only need to enter the project title to create a new project.

To Do Tab

  • Create actionable items

As you progress through pre pro on a project there will be actionable things that need to be done.

  • Check them off when competed

and they will go away.

Calendar

The calendar section is set up to be very versatile to use it however you see fit. Crew or gear day play packages. which locations are shot on which days. etc.

Locations

  • Add a location

Create a card for each location that is in the script. If you are shooting in a house and there are multiple locations within a house, each card will be of a location in that house. example, Johnnys House - Kitchen, Johnnys House - Bedroom, etc.

  • Choose location type

Interior, Exterior or a mix of both

  • General Info

Gather general info about the location such as room dimensions, windows, preferred time to shoot. Upload photos of the space. You can even put in an address that can give you access on how to get there.

  • Lighting plot

upload a lighting plot for that location if the lighting design is extensive and requires rigging. For simpler set ups use the lighting/grip notes in the scene tab.

  • Sunrise/Sunset Info

You can take screenshots from your sun path app and then upload them here for easy reference.

Scenes

  • Label the scene

choose a scene number from the script, choose the time of day, and give a brief description of the scene.

  • Choose the Location
  • Choose camera and lighting settings
  • Camera, Grip, Lighting Requirements

If the lighting design is simple or needs to be figured out on the day, use these fields to get a general sense of how you're going to accomplish the look. Example: Lighting Requirements: skypanel s60 key light inside bedroom. m18 outside window push. 800 jo leko in hallway.

Equipment Tab

In the equipment tab you can make your equipment list and save it for future reference. Once you receive any quotes from the rental house they can be saved here, as well as the final order from the rental house. This can be helpful for other crew members to reference for inventory or other reasons.
