Probe Lens

These are unique lenses designed for close up macro shooting. Because they have a long slender design, they can be placed very close to the action. While they require a large amount of light, they can achieve shots not possible any other way.
Movement with a probe lens is very difficult. A heavy head like a 2575 or geared head is recommended. A Dana Dolly can be very difficult as there is a lot of play in the wheels, so a conventional slider may be better to use.
If using the 90 degree periscope lens you will have to flip the sensor or the monitors vertically to view the image appropriately.
