Print DMX Labels

Directions

• Turn on Nomad Computer
• Patch in DYMO label printer

Make sure the printer has power. The software should open automatically.

• Make sure the software sees the printer

Bottom left of the software it should say "DYMO LabelWriter 450 Turbo" and below that it should say "connected"

• Make sure you have the correct label

Next to where it shows the printer, there should be a box that says "Large Shipping Labels"30256 | LW 2-5/16"x4" "

• Click the text ABC

A blue box with points appears around the text. Change the text box shape so that it favors the top and stretches across the whole label horizontally.

• Delete the text

the text box should still be there. You can make sure by clicking inside the text box. You can click there even if you do not physically see the text box. Once you click it the blue square with points should return.

• Add a text box

Near the top and to the left of the digital label is a blue button that says "Add". Click that and choose Text. A text box will appear on your label.

• Move and delete text

Move the second text box to the bottom right of the label. make the box a little smaller overall. Delete the text.

• Add a 3rd text box

Move the 3rd box to the bottom right. Reduce size overall. Delete text.

• Import data

File>Import Data>browse. Find your LX Beams Data Sheet. Press OK. Press import

• Assign Field types to Text boxes

Top text box will be fixture name. Bottom left text box will be Channel number. Bottom right text box will be address.

• Print labels

Blue button in the bottom right of the screen. Press it.

• Place stickers on Fixtures

Use 2in black photo paper tape as a base layer to your sticker. then Place the label on top of black paper tape. Don't forget ATT !
