Preparing Information for Tax Return

At the year-end, you must prepare a few documents for our accountant to file our tax return. You will need to complete the following before these documents can be prepared:
- Completed all Bookkeeping
- Reconcile all accounts. (Checking/Credit Card)
- Run the last payroll of the year.
You will then have to submit the following documents to our accountant.
Updated Asset List
This can be found in Quickbooks:
Reports > Favorites > Assets for Previous Year Report
This will show you all of the assets that were purchased in the previous year. Make sure all transactions are over $1000 and have descriptions of what the item is as well, vendor, date purchased, and amount purchased for.
Payroll Reports
These can both be found in ADP under reports.
W2 Report - Summary of all W2's submitted. Payroll Summary Report - Summary of all paychecks made by the business.
