Packing instructions: Mini distro cart
This has to be moved elsewhere.
- Cut 8x fresh pipes to 43”
- Stick blue marking dots on either end of the pipes
- Take 8x more fresh pipes and cut out 15x 17.5” pipes, you can get 2 pieces for every pipe. Save the scrap for later
- Stick Red marking dots on either ends of the 17.5” pipes
- Take 4 pieces of scrap and cut them to 14.5”
- Stick Green marking dots on either end of the 14.5” pipes
- Take 4x more fresh pipes and cut them to 34”
- Stick Yellow marking dots on either end of the 34” pipes
- Take your yellow pipes and attach white rectangle labels to all pieces at the following measurements: 11” , 21”, 28”. Mark the measurements with a pen.
- Take all 31x pipes and pack them into a 48” long cardboard box, using craft paper as padding.
- Take: 38x bolts,38x nuts ,8x wood screws, 4 sets of caster hardware and 4 pipe caps and bag them up using the bag sealer.
- Grab a 12x12x12 box and pack up the following:
4x Caster (2 fixed, 2 swivel)
2x left side caster plate
2x right side caster plate
2x Three-Way Cross Joints
30x Tee Joints
4x Passthrough Elbow (both half) 6x Shelf Mounting Brackets
4x corner mounting bracket
4x support brackets
All bolts, nuts, screws and caps
Step one:
Get an order form from squarespace of the product ordered
Cut all pipe to length using the chop saw
Mark each pipe with 2 colored dots based on their length
Pack all pipe into a 50” long box, use crate paper as filler material when necessary
Step two:
Place all fitting, bolts and nuts into individual poly bags using the bag sealer.
Pack up all fittings, bolts, nuts and casters in 1-2 1’x1’x1’ square box.
Insert order into box
Seal up all boxes
Step Three:
Log onto square space and print off the shipping label
Log onto Pirateship and purchase a shipping label for the product, eneter in all the client info and use the cheapest shipping available.
