- Start with putting together a 48" x 12" x 12" box from the packing supplies.
- Lay down 1 sheet of kraft paper as the base for your box.
- Lay one layer of pipes down, starting with the longest first.
For Each new layer of pipe you will need to add a layer of kraft paper between them.
- Poly Bag all fittings, keeping all like fittings together in the bags
- Lay fitting bags into box with pipe as neatly as possible.
- Add sheet for assembly instructions
- Seal with tape and
Tape the box closed long ways then lay 4-8 strips along the short sides making sure to get both ends.
C Stand Cart
- Get a packing list from the Simple BOM App
- Cut all your pipes to length using the linaer cut instructions
- Apply colored dot stickers to the pipes
Apply any arrow stickers here as well.
- Place all pipes in a 5"x5"x 48" cardboard box
Fill in the dead space with craft paper
- Print Part Labels
* Pack up all your connectors/parts
Large parts - 12" thick poly bags, apply label sticker to outside of bag
Small parts - Packed in small zipper pouches with the lable extending over the bottom edge
Wheels - Bubble wrapped and label applied to outside of wrap
Make sure all parts stickers are facing up and in the same direction towards the longer side of the box
* Fill in any leftover room with craft paper
* Add a contents page
* Seal with Bolt Film Solutions tape.
Cutting Pipe
- Measure your pipe to length using a tape measure
Mark your pipes with a silver sharpie
- Cut the pipe using the Ridgid electric pipe cutter
Turn machine on and set speed to low.
Set up foot pedal on the ground.
Line the blade of the cutter up to the mark you are cutting
Lock the cutting blade down by pressing down
Use the foot pedal to start the machine
turn the orange handle to plunge the blade deeper, stop once cut is made.
twist orange handle back until blade unlocks.
Once all cuts are done turn off the machine and wrap the foot pedal.
