Making Dailies

Normally you would sync the sound for transcoding and dailies, but for a quick version see below.

• Make sure the Resolve Dongle is plugged in, you can remove the A-Camera card reader to do this.

• Open DaVinci Resolve

• Double Click on "An Island Dailies" project in the project manager.

• Click the Edit Tab at the bottom of the screen.

• Right Click on the bin in the top left and create a folder with todays date.

• Double click on the new folder

• Bring finder to the front

• Go to the Master Drive

• Click on A-Camera folder

• Drag and drop each folder that has todays date.

• Click on B-Camera and repeat the process.

• Click on one file in the bin, then press Command + A to select all clips

• Right click on one of the clips and select "Create Timeline from selected clips"

Add LUT

• Click on the Color Tab

• In the top right where it says "Clip", click that, select "Timeline"

• Press Option + S. This will add a node in the top right window.

• Right click on the node you added.

• Select LUT > ARRI > Rysland Time 9:13...

• Press Command S to Save this.
