Liftgate Adjustment

2500 Sprinter

When initially lowering the liftgate, check to see if the gate stops when it is completely level before you have to press the button again to continue lowering.

If the gate isn't level, you can make an adjustment by rotating the sensor at the base of the liftgate (when looking at it fully closed against the sprinter).

It's a small box that should be as level as possible when the gate is up completely.

Make an incremental adjustment and test the gate to see if it it's leveling more or sending the gate further up or down at an angle.

Continue adjusting until it's completely straight on the initial drop-down.
