Lastpass

Lastpass is a password management program that we use in the shop to store all relevant passwords.

Daily Use

Most of the time, as a rentals manager, you will use the Chrome browser Lastpass Extension to auto-fill passwords, but sometimes you will have to copy/paste passwords from LastPass into the program you are using. For some programs that are cesktop applications, you will have to copy/paste from the Lastpass vault. The lastpass icon will show how many passwords exist for that site and will auto-fill if possible. If there are multiple logins you will have to select the lastpass icon and choose which one you would like to auto-fill.

To Search for a Password

Open your Lastpass vault by clicking on the chrome plugin on the top right of your browser and clicking Open my Vault. This will show you all available passwords and you can search for anything you like.

If you get logged out of LastPass, you will need to contact the Rental Manager or Ryan to get logged back in.

To Share Passwords

Make sure they are located in a shared folder. If you create a new password you will need to put it in one of the shared folders.
