Instagram Giveaway
Creating a giveaway is a great way to create customer loyalty, get new customers, and create traffic to social media and websites.
- Pick a giveaway prize
Check-in with Ryan and Matt about what you want to give away and get approval for the giveaway. Some examples of giveaways, high-end swag like sweatshirts, other swag, perhaps discounts on rental, be creative, but in the end, it'll have to be something people actually want.
- Understand the goal of the giveaway
Think about what you want to achieve with the giveaway, make sure you tailor the giveaway to realistically meet that goal.
- Set the criteria to enter giveaway
It could just be one criterion or multiple. Here are some examples: Like this post, tag 3 friends, Follow us on IG/FB/etc, Post a photo of gear/swag/etc, Tag Bolt in a photo, use certain hashtag on a post, etc.
- Set your end date to be in 3 days
Make sure to state when the giveaway will be over and when you'll choose a winner/winners.
- Be sure to use hashtags for giveaway
Make sure you use industry-specific hashtags and avoid anything that could be potentially generic.
- Make Criteria stand out
Check Mark emojis are a great way to emphasize the criteria.
- Add photos
Choose photos that show the prize
- Cross-post using stories
Share the post in the Bolt stories as well
- Post winners
Try and get a photo of the winner/winners with the prize once they receive it. Use a Randon number generator to pick the winner, then send a message to the winner asking for their address. Then Post the winner in your Instagram story.
