How to Fix a Stinger

Often times we receive a stinger that has white tape (indicating it has problems functioning)

- Identify the problem
Look for physical damage to both connectors and the cable itself and be sure to wiggle connections when testing with a multimeter.
- Test wiring with multimeter
You'll need to use a multimeter and the edison tester to diagnose the problem. Using a Multi-Meter
- Re-wiring loose connections
The fastest way is to use a drill. If the stinger reads to be functioning correctly but comes on and off due to loose connections, all we need to do is unscrew the Hubbell and re-attach any of the loose wires. The wires will need to be re-stripped and shortened slightly
