French Reverse
This technique is used in daytime exterior lighting when you are in a location that is visually similar in all locations.
Instead of shooting your coverage in one direction, then turning around to get your over the shoulder shots, you instead just have the actors switch places and have the cameras stay put. This is done so that the actors will remain backlit by the sun and not be front lit in the opposite direction. While it is a bit of a cheat, as long as you have shallow depth of field it won't be noticed by the audience.
This can also be done when there is a pleasing background, but only in one direction. Instead of moving the camera to show the poor background on your reverse, instead you just swap the actors and shoot them both in the same direction.
