Drift
We have decided to no longer use drift as we cannot reliably respond to requests immediately. If we can reliably respond to requests immediately this would be good, but otherwise it just makes us look bad.
Drift is a messaging client that exists on our website. We will get direct messages from people on our website who will ask about availability, ask for quotes, or ask for other information. These messages go to the slack #leads channel or direct on the Drift website
When someone messages us through Drift, you will get a new message in slack.
- Click the link to the new channel created.
- Click on the newly created channel and reply there to talk to whoever is reaching out.
- Try to get contact info early.
You can either get an email address or phone number, but it's important you get their contact info early as their likelihood of signing off mid chat session is high. We want to be able to reach out to them again to make sure they found everything they were looking for and that they don't need any further assistance.
