Director Introduction

If this is your first time working with a director, the producer will usually send an email introducing you to the director for the project. You should have already researched them prior to the job beginning, but now might be a good time to show them you've done your homework. Let them know you've seen some of their past work and that you're looking forward to working with them on the project. A simple specific complement can go a long way and show that you didn't just skim through it.
