A dedolight is a small 150 watt light. They are 24v DC and have an onboard transformer to convert 120v AC to 24v DC.
Uses
These are often used for small accents or backlights in a night interior. They are oftentimes chosen because of their high output and small form factor. The one downside to these lights is the bale can be very limiting, as a result you will often times use the light on a norms pin with a gobo head to increase its flexibility. These also have an onboard dimmer.
They also have a wide range for flood to spot.

Troubleshooting
If the head is not turning on make sure that the dimmer is at full and the switch is on.
