Crew Members Prep/Wrap
For longer jobs crew members will sometimes come to prep their orders and load their trucks to their specifications. To make sure the checkout process is still smooth we can only have them do specific tasks at the shop. We will need most items to be available at the shop for them to do the prep. If there are any items that are not available, we need to reach out and communicate that to them.
Overall it is much better for them to submit any changes in writing so that we have a record of the change and how it was responded to, rather than just verbal confirmation. We also want to encourage them to look at their original equipment list and our order and confirm that everything matches.
These lists should be gone over with the crew when they arrive so they are clear on how they can assist us.
Prep Tasks
All of these tasks are optional, but are things that we recommend them to do if they would like their prep to be thorough. The prep should be done on the opposite side of the yard.
- Check soft goods
Must be done outside to prevent their gear from getting mixed in with the shop.
- Check nets and flags
- Test Lights

- Count Quantity Items
We can do this by printing out a return sheet for their job.
- Check stands
- Adressing fixtures and setting up DMX Profiles
- Prepping Carts to their specifications.
- Labeling Equipment
There are some things that we want to discourage them from doing:
- Moving gear from inside the shop to outside the shop
- Loading any gear that hasn't been scanned out.
- Assisting with Picking Orders
- Scanning Items Out
- Using all of our available carts
We can provide some rubbermaid carts, but don't allow them to take all of them.
