Care Instructions

Grid Cloths (1/4, 1/2, Full) – These can be machine washed. Please remove all ties before washing, wash one at a time to avoid the rags getting knotted together. Machine wash cold with tide and either air dry on a frame or tumble dry with no heat.

Ultrabounce – These can be machine washed. Please remove all ties before washing. Machine wash cold with tide and either air dry on a frame or tumble dry with no heat. You can do a warm wash if the stains are more set in but in this instance make sure you dry the rags in the frame to prevent shrinkage of the rag.

Half Soft Frost - These can not be machine washed. For these we typically use a rag with 409 and gently hand clean.

Solid - These cannot be machine washed. When a solid gets wet it will wash off the FR treatment making the rag unusable. To clean these, we normally use our air compressor to blow off any debris. If you do not have an air compressor you can try a soft bristle brush and a lint roller.

B/W Griff - These cannot be machine washed. For these we typically use a rag with 409 and gently hand clean.

Poly Silk - These can be machine washed. Remove all ties and wash one at a time on a warm wash cycle with a small amount of tide. Tumble dry with no heat or air dry in a frame

Muslin - These can be machine washed. Remove all ties and wash one at a time on a warm wash cycle with a small amount of tide. These need to be stretched in a frame to dry to avoid shrinkage.

Magic Cloth - These cannot be machine washed. For these we typically use a rag with 409 and gently hand clean.

Chroma Green - These can be machine washed. Remove all ties and wash one at a time on a cold wash cycle with a small amount of tide. Tumble dry with no heat or air dry in a frame

Nets (Single/Double) - These can be machine washed. Remove all ties and wash one at a time on a cold wash cycle with a small amount of tide. These need to be stretched in a frame to dry to avoid shrinkage.

Silver Lame - These cannot be machine washed. To clean these we typically go over them with a lint roller or use a microfiber cloth with a small amount of water and tide to gently hand clean.

Washing Machine Instructions

To wash in a machine:

  • Remove all ties
  • Machine Wash Cold with regular Tide soap.

For Drying

You can either dry the rags in a machine or by hanging them and air drying them.

For a machine:

  • Keep ties removed
  • Use no-heat setting

For Air Drying if you have many rags, it may be beneficial to use triangle truss brackets with only the bottom 2 sleeves with pipe. This way you can tie one rag to each pipe and you only need to use 2 stands for 1 piece of pipe. Always put the rags on stands with wheels.

For Larger Rags

  • Lay out on Visqueen, use broom or brush to wipe off large pieces.
  • Use soft rag and spray bottle filled with water and simple green.
  • Fold the rag up onto a small part of the visqueen
  • Sweep Visqueen, flip rag over and unfold, then clean again.
