A C-47 is film jargon for a wooden clothespin, also called bullets or clips.

They can be used for the following:

• Attaching gel to Barndoors

• Clip black material to a jem ball or china ball.

• Half of one for a Mini-wedge

• Sometimes they will be reversed and used to pull hot scrims out of lights. This is called a C-74. It is also common to wrap electrical tape around

your C-74 to keep it from falling apart.
