Bowline Knot
The Bowline is used to make a fixed loop in the end of a line or around an object. It is relatively easy to untie when not under load.
Common on set uses
- securing a rope to a loop
- securing a rope to speed rail for a dead hang.
- securing a rope to a loop to make a truckers hitch
- securing a rope to a fixture to raise by rope. i.e. in scissor lift or on roof of building.
