Bolt Website
Our website can be accessed through the Wordpress portal. To make any changes to it you'll do the following:
- Go to Wordpress Login
- Login using credentials from lastpass.
How to Update Crew List
The Bolt crew list is a database of people who work in the bay area. We do not monitor the crew list much, but sometimes people will ask us to delete their name.
- Go to the Crew List Database
Navigate to “ADVANCED CF7 BD” on the left side in the column.
- Select the Appropriate List
- Select the person who is being removed.
- Delete
Select Bulk Actions then hit Delete.
How to Update Plug-Ins
Wordpress Updates
Go to the dashboard to check for any wordpress or PHP updates.
Plugin Update
- Navigate to plugins, select Plugins on the left side.
- On the left, select the box to select all.
- Select Update
- Press Apply
Requesting Custom Changes
If it is not a simple text change and has to do with the functionality of the website, we use Site Slinger
- Login first, then click the following link.
- Request your changes
Be sure to ask for a quote first.
- Get Quote Approved
Use the spending approvals channel in slack.
- Approve Changes
They will not always push it to our site live right away, they may push it to a test server first for our approval. Check back with them and approve it so they can push it live.
