August Smart Lock

The August smart lock is the lock on the front of the shop door.

It is a smart lock so we can remotely lock and unlock the door. We can also see if the door is open or closed and locked or unlocked from anywhere with internet connection.

There is also a bluetooth keypad that is located to the right of the door. You can find the code in the Shop Combo Codes secure note. Each combo key is given to each person and it will say who entered based on the combo key that was used.

Troubleshooting

  • The smart lock says the batteries are low even they are fine.

Open The August App after replacing batteries and hit "I have replaced batteries" notification

Otherwise

You will need to disconect your phone from wifi, take the batteries out of the lock, put them back then run the lock a few times on just blue tooth. This will restart the battery sensor.

If Batterys do need to be changed.

  • Remove the faceplate

Press down on the August logo located at the bottom of the face plate. Grab the top of the faceplate and remove it.

  • Remove the battery

Replace the old batteries with new ones.

  • Replace the faceplate

Place the faceplate back onto the Smart Lock, with the August logo at the bottom
