Aputure Light Domes
Aputure carries a line of light domes which are circular soft boxes of various dimensions. They have the Light Dome 150 (5') the Light Dome II (3'), and then the newer version of the II which is the Light Dome III (3').
This is used for soft lighting. The softbox ships with 1.5 and 2.5 stop diffusers as well as a removable inner baffle to further diffuse your light.
It's a Bowens-type mount and does not require a speedring of any sort.
Uses
Can be used along with many of the light storm units and is a great choice for a key light as it gives a circular catch light in the eyes instead of a rectangular one. To see if its compatible, refer to the aputure compatibility wizard.
