Aputure 1200X Light Storm
The aputure 1200x is a 1200w Bi-Color COB light, though it has a maximum power draw of 1440W. For house power jobs, this light is usually used as a main unit. It uses the BLAIR chip which stands for Blue, Lime, Amber, Indigo, Red, which are all the LEDs it features. Although its bi-color, it also has the ability to dial in green or magenta using these other LEDs. While they don't advertise it as a RGB light, if you go into x,y mode you can achieve a variety of colors. They just won't get as saturated as other lights that are advertised as RGB.
The 1200x also features a locking bowens mount, where you can tighten an additional portion to tighten down on the bowens mount. Creating a more solid fit.
Uses
Can be used as a key light either through a window or inside.
It is bright enough to replicate sunlight for interiors. You can use it as a lantern style light to use as a key light around a table or other group situations.
