800 Jo-Leko
The 800 Jo Leko is an attachment for the K5600 Joker 800 that turns it into a source 4 type light. We do not break down the Jo-Lekos when they come back as often times they will just go right back out as a jo-leko. For this reason we will keep them built to reduce work.
Notes about video:
- You will not have to remove the collar, we have removed this from the Jokers because their only purpose is to hold down the beaker. The beaker will often times break and does not affect the functionality or safety of the light in any meaningful way.
- Our bulb extender just slips onto the globe with no set screws.
Uses
Jo-Lekos are used for bouncing light into hard to reach places. For example, you may need a backlight on someone but you are not able to rig a light where it needs to go. Instead you can use a Jo-Leko to make a rectangular beam of light to create a backlight. They are also used if you need a hard beam of light. Can also be used as a follow spot. Using a gel frame is very difficult with this light because of how hot it gets. You will often times have to use a 4x4 frame gelled to the color you need.

Troubleshooting
Issues with focusing - Check reflector, it may need to be replaced.
The light is dim - Check for a bulb extender.
