5/8th Rods

5/8th rod is a hollow steel or aluminum tubing that is 5/8" in diameter. Rods come in varying lengths. These are used by the grip department.

Uses

5/8" rods are used for lightweight and small rigging for camera or lighting. Used in conjunction with 5/8" rigging hardware.

Troubleshooting

If rigging hardware is not fitting on the rod it could be bent and needs to be replaced. If rods are damaged they are to be recycled. You can also cut off the damaged end and make it into a smaller standardized size.
